6-Week 1:1 Coaching for Students
You are not lazy or undisciplined. Whether it is a job, family responsibilities, a social life, school pressure, or simply never being taught how any of this actually works, something is pulling on the same hours your schoolwork needs, and nobody has taught you how to make it all fit. The Student Success System gives you tools, not lectures. It is a real way to plan, study, and manage your time and energy, instead of just being told to “work harder.”
Over six weeks, through six phases, weekly one-to-one coaching, Sunday “Win the Week” planning sessions, and ongoing support, your student will build a practical system around school and everything else competing for their time, step by step, so school feels less chaotic and they can show up as the student they actually want to be.
What students will get out of this program:
Organization and Time Management: Build clear systems to plan their week, track deadlines, and balance school with work, family, social life, and everything else pulling at their time, without constant scrambling.
Stronger Study Skills and Habits: Learn how to take and make notes, use active recall, and run focused study blocks so they can "study less and learn more," even during busy or distracted weeks.
Mindful Accountability: Use reflection and simple mindfulness tools to take ownership of their choices, see mistakes as data (not failure), and adjust instead of shutting down.
An Empowered Learning Mindset: Develop an "I can figure this out" approach, grounded in their WHY and the kind of student they are choosing to be.
The Student Success System is a strong fit if your student:
Is struggling to balance school with work, family, social life, screens, or just everything.
Often feels overwhelmed by deadlines, expectations, and a schedule that never slows down.
Wants to be more organized, but hasn't yet found a system that actually sticks.
Is open to trying new tools, reflecting honestly, and taking ownership of their time and learning.
Would benefit from structured, expert support that's personalized to them, not a one-size-fits-all program or generic advice.
You want them to have tools they can carry into every class, every year, not just a quick fix.
In real life, the Student Success System looks like:
⚖️ A weekly schedule that balances school, work, family, social life, and downtime, instead of guessing day-to-day.
📝🗓️ A simple agenda and task system that works with their actual life, not just a generic planner template.
🪑 A study space (home, school, wherever) that's set up for focus, not distraction, so thinking is the hardest part - not finding papers or fighting with their phone.
🎯 Clear goals and intentions that connect what happens in the classroom to who they actually want to be.
✏️ Note-taking and study strategies that fit how their brain actually learns, not just more hours of reading and re-reading.
🧠 "Study less, learn more" strategies using active recall and focused study blocks.
😌 Mindset and reset tools they can use when they feel behind, stressed, or tempted to procrastinate.
Let's connect and see if the Student Success System is right for your student.

Length: 6 weeks
Format: 1:1 coaching + phases-based curriculum + community support
When you enroll, your student gets:
Weekly 1:1 Coaching (Zoom)
One private call during each phase to review progress, talk through challenges, and create action steps that fit their real schedule and goals.
The full Student Success System phases (0-5)
The program is organized into six phases, and each phase is broken into 4-5 clear parts. Each part is explained step by step inside the workbook with reflections, activities, and guided tasks, and each part also has an accompanying video lesson inside Podia so your student can learn the concept and then apply it right away.
Sunday "Win-the-Week" Planning Sessions (Zoom)
A weekly planning session to reflect on what worked, what didn't, and map out the week ahead so they are not starting Monday feeling behind.
Ongoing Support via Email and Text
Support between sessions so your student is not left trying to figure it out alone between sessions.
Access to the Student Success Community
Weekly theme group coaching calls, study hours, and office hours where students can work alongside others, ask questions, and stay accountable.
This means your student is supported through every phase with a workbook, videos, coaching, and real-life accountability, not just information, but a system they can actually use.
Missed assignments and rushed work because school keeps losing out to work, family, social life, and screens.
Overwhelmed by everything at once, school, life, and the pressure to keep up, which leads to stress and self-doubt.
Knows what to do but can't make themselves start, so even simple tasks turn into last-minute scrambles.
Spends so much time trying to make it perfect that nothing ever actually gets finished.
Has tried planners, apps, and productivity hacks, and none of it lasts past a week.
Feels behind in a way they can't quite name, and doesn't know where to even start fixing it.
A real weekly plan that actually accounts for school, work, family, and life, with fewer last-minute scrambles.
Less stress and overwhelm, because there's finally a system instead of just hoping it works out.
Knows how to start, not just what to do, so procrastination loses its grip.
Done becomes more important than perfect, so work actually gets finished and handed in.
Study methods that actually make things stick, not just more hours of re-reading.
A system that holds up past week one, because it's built around habits, not willpower.
Feels in control and confident, with systems they can keep long after the 6 weeks are over.
Here's a breakdown of what students gain week-to-week.
Phase 0: Preparation
Before we touch phones, binders, or schedules, we start with who they are becoming and why this matters. They clarify their WHY, define the kind of student they choose to be, and set key mindsets like "trust the process" and "mistakes = data, not failure."
Phase 1: Set-Up
Turn inner decisions into outer systems. They clean up their digital world, design a study environment that supports focus, organize binders and files, and build a term schedule that shows exactly where their time goes.
Phase 2: Clarity
Get clear on how learning actually works and their role in it. They see where note-taking, reviewing, and studying fit into the learning process and start building a note-making routine that supports real understanding.
Phase 3: Planning & Time Management
Build the planning tools and habits that turn goals into a realistic path: agenda, task system, Win-the-Week routine, Daily Top 3, and basic prioritization so they know what to do first, next, and later.
Phase 4: Get It Done
Practice using the system in real life. They use environmental rituals, self-talk, Daily Top 3, study blocks, and procrastination tools to actually start, keep going, and finish work, even on tough days.
Phase 5: Skill Mastery + Next Steps
Now that the foundation is in place, your student gets access to deeper-dive toolkits to strengthen specific skills inside the Student Success portal. Together, we will also choose one Skill Mastery Toolkit to focus on based on their biggest need right now, so they know exactly where to start.

I'm excited to be your Student Success coach. With over 23 years of experience as an educator, I've watched countless students struggle with the same thing - not a lack of intelligence, but a lack of systems. Juggling school with work, family, social life, and everything else competing for their attention, with no one ever teaching them how.
I created the Student Success System because I kept seeing the same gap: school expects students to know how to plan, study, and manage their time, but no one actually teaches those skills in a clear, step-by-step way. The Student Success System is my way of giving them the tools, language, and support I wish every student had.
My approach is honest, supportive, and practical. I'll guide your student in mastering the systems that actually work so they can feel more organized, confident, and in control - one habit, one system, one next step at a time.
FAQ section
You've got questions. We've got answers.
The Student Success System is designed for students who want more structure, support, and skills to manage school, work, family, and everything else competing for their time. It's a good fit for students who feel overwhelmed, disorganized, or like they're working hard but not seeing that effort show up in their results.
Most students spend about 60–90 minutes per week on the Student Success System: one coaching call, the Sunday Win-the-Week planning session, and workbook/video time. The goal is to integrate the system into the time they already have, not pile on a whole extra course.
Each 1:1 coaching call focuses on the current phase: we review the workbook pages they've looked at, talk through what's actually happening in their schedule, and choose 1-3 realistic action steps for the week. Calls are practical and supportive, not lectures or "you should try harder" conversations. At the end, we book a time for a zoom check-in as a follow-up.
Parents do not have to attend sessions, but are welcome to stay informed and involved. You are welcome to join the Podia platform which enables you to see the video lessons and activities. During each phase, I also send out a one-page "Parent Playbook" that explains what we're focusing on, what you might notice at home, and simple ways you can support your student. Some families like a brief check-in at the start and/or at the end of the program; others prefer occasional email updates. Your main role is to encourage your student to show up, try the tools, and talk openly about what's working.
The Student Success System exists because students are busy. The system is built to reduce chaos, not add to it. We start by looking at their schedule, then use the phases to create a simpler structure around what's already there so they can feel less overwhelmed, not more.
Life happens. If they need to miss a scheduled 1:1 call or the Sunday group planning session, we will reschedule the 1:1 and they will have access to the planning framework so they can still reset their week. I ask for as much notice as possible so we can keep them on track.
No. The Student Success System does not replace subject tutoring. This is not tutoring. However, it sits alongside that support. We focus on systems, habits, planning, study skills, and mindset so that tutoring and all their effort work better together.
Many students come into the program feeling tired, discouraged, or stuck. We don't wait for perfect motivation. Instead, we work on small wins, simple tools, and a clearer WHY so they can start to feel more in control and see progress again.
No. The Student Success System works for students with all kinds of challenges; the disorganized, the perfectionist, the "I don't know where to start" kind of student - because the core skills (organization, time management, study skills, and mindset) are universal. What changes is how we apply those tools to their specific situation.
At the end of the program, your student completes a final self-assessment and reflection so they can see what has changed and what they want to keep working on. From there, they can continue using the systems on their own, or, if it's a good fit, we can talk about ongoing coaching pathways: continue with 1:1 support, or participate in the membership pathway.
