Upgraded and refined, CHAMPs 2.0 program empowers student-athletes by teaching them essential skills such as organization, time management, and effective study habits through proven mindfulness techniques. It helps participants balance the demands of academics and athletics while fostering a mindset of accountability and lifelong learning. Through structured modules, coaching sessions, and mindfulness practices, CHAMPs 2.0 equips students to excel both in their studies and on the field, promoting personal growth and academic success. Learning in an online group setting fosters a supportive community, where participants can share experiences, gain diverse perspectives, and motivate one another, all while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of online learning.

The total investment for this comprehensive program is $750, which breaks down to approximately $62.50 per week for the 12-weeks. This investment provides access to 12 in-depth modules, 12 weeks of group coaching, and 4 private coaching calls, ensuring you receive personalized support and guidance every step of the way.

Structure:

  • 12 Weekly Sunday Night: Win-the-Week Check-Ins: A zoom call to learn best practices for reflecting on the week's accomplishments and planning out the week ahead.

  • 12 Weekly Modules: Every Sunday morning, students will get access to learning topics such as goal setting, organization skills, time management, study techniques, and mindfulness.

  • Weekly group coaching:  Live zoom call to delve into the week’s module and provide an opportunity for students to share learning and ask questions (will be recorded and sent out for those not able to attend). Three call options available each week to help accommodate student-athlete's busy schedules.

  • Practice: Individual activities to reinforce skills learned.

  • 4 One-on-one mentoring sessions: Get personalized support and guidance; each student has 4 1:1 mentoring sessions to book based on their schedule and need. The first 1:1 is to be booked in the first week to complete goal setting activity. These mentoring sessions will take place on zoom.

Here is a general breakdown of what student-athletes will gain week-to-week.

Module 1: Welcome Week - Get to know your peers and understand the goals and expectation of the program, focusing on key concepts such as putting effort into the program, trusting the process, defining personal success and empowering self. Receive essential tips on staying organized and motivated throughout the program.

Module 2: Introducing The CHAMPs System - Discover how to take control of your time using a comprehensive system to balance academic and athletic commitments. In this module, you'll learn to set up an agenda to map our your week and manage tasks, organize your binder for easy access to materials, and create a term schedule that includes all non-negotiable commitments like school, practices and training. With these tools in place, you'll gain a clear overview of where your time is going and ensure you're prioritizing daily study time, hleping you stay on top of your bame both in the classroom and on the field.

Module 3: Goal Setting & Intentions - Discover how to set meaningful goals and align your intentions with the action needed to achieve them. In this module, you'll explore how the traits that make you successful on the court - such as discipline, resilience, and consistency - can be applied to your academic journey. Learn how to leverage your strengths to create a mindset for success both in sport and in school.

Module 4: Intention Setting & Accountability - Discover how to stay focused on your goals by creating personal intention statements and an Intention Board that inspire you daily. In this module, you'll learn how these tools help clarify your path to success and keep you motivated. What is the CHAMPs Program and what does it aim to achieve?

The CHAMPs program is a comprehensive program tailored to help student-athletes balance academics and athletics. The program focuses on equipping students with essential skills such as organization, time management, goal setting, study techniques, and mindfulness. Through a mindful and personalized approach, CHAMPs aims to empower student-athletes to take accountability for their academic success, understand their learning styles, and implement effective strategies that enable them to thrive both in the classroom and in their sports. How long does the program last, and what is the time commitment expected from the participants?

The program is a 12 week program; based on the school calendar year there is usually a break week so the entire program lasts 13-14 weeks in total. The program is made up of a 30-45 minute Sunday Night: Win-the-Week call plus a weekly 60 min live zoom coaching call. Students will then need to allocate additional time throughout the week to engage with module content which could vary in time dependent on the student. 30 minutes + can be expected.

New: There are 3 coaching call options available for participants. Busy schedule, no problem, as you have options as to when you join the coaching call.

    • NEW: CHAMPs Goal Tracking workbook. Students begin the program by setting three overall program goals: academic, athletic and person. These goals are monitored and reflected on every 4 weeks. Each week students also set clear and measurable micro-SMART goals based on their key takeaways from the week's module and coaching call. These micro-goals will then be reflected on during the following coaching call.
